PRODUCT OVERVIEW
Barramundi and cod specific spinning and baitcaster rods built tough to withstand the rigours of these hard fighting sportfish. The Runoff's are built for iconic Australian fish. The barramundi and murray cod. Both are tough fighting sportsfish that often take large lures. As a result, the Runoff range are tough with a hardy build. While built strong, they do not miss any of the Samurai feel. The rods start with Samurai's proprietary triple layer carbon blank. The blank we created has three layers, the bottom and top layer are angled in opposition to each other. The middle layer is laid vertically.
We experimented with the angles in a new carbon cloth technology until we settled on the perfect combination of lightness, and one that reduces twisting, enabling the blank to transfer energy and power immediately down the line with little to no loss of force. Less fatigue for you and a shorter fight time for the fish. The blank also has a bi-axial fused wrap at its base to reduce torsion under load enhancing the light and responsive feel.
At the business end, the rods are equipped with our Duragrip handle. A handle cut to a perfect thickness to offer a more comfortable hold for reduced fatigue.
