By following a few simple steps, your new Anaconda bike can be assembled quickly and correctly, so ensure you follow all manufacturers instructions.

Unbox the bike: A mountain bike, road bike or other bicycle consists of dozens of parts. When assembled, every component should be in sync, allowing your bike to provide optimum speed and manoeuvrability for an enjoyable ride. Anaconda bikes are boxed and ready for assembly using purpose-designed bike tools. Unbox everything carefully and ensure all bike components are intact and ready for assembly.

Use appropriate tools for assembly: Although bike assembly is straight forward, you will need the right tools to complete the job. Your list of essential tools may include a chain tool, allen keys, spanners, adjustable spanner, pedal spanner, wire cutter and screw drivers. Check beforehand to see what tools are included with your new Anaconda bike.

Putting it all together: Assembly of your new bike may include attaching the seat post, pedals, handlebars, wheels and more. High quality Fluid and Huffy bicycles are constructed with easy assembly in mind, allowing customers to purchase with confidence.

Brakes and chain: Attach the brake mechanisms and chain according to manufacturers specifications. When fitting a chain to a geared bike, use the largest gear in the back and the largest in the front, with just enough chain to allow it to spin smoothly. If the chain is too tight or kinked, loosen the chain slightly and adjust the fit.

You may need to cut the cable housing for your brakes. Ensure you have enough housing to allow full turning of the handlebars without interfering with brakes. Fine tune the brakes and other mechanisms to ensure safety on the road or trail. If in doubt, speak to an Anaconda expert or staff at a professional bicycle shop.

Test ride the bike: When bike building is complete, double check everything is tight and secure. Check all components and go for a short test ride.
