The Mountain Designs Edge technical hiking pack is a limited-edition design that has been relaunched as part of the 50 Year Legacy range to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Mountain Designs brand and its heritage of adventure in Australia. A popular pack that's seen trails all over the world, it's an engineered design that optimises load support, comfort and durability for the most challenging trekking adventures.
It features an enhanced bar harness system with a highly-padded hip belt and back panel, as well as shoulder strap load adjusters and a sternum strap for perfectly adjusting weight distribution and cushioning. Storage and packing options are plenty - the adjustable hood includes both internal and external zippered pockets, while the large main compartment can also be accessed through a bottom zip.
An internal divider can section off dirty gear, with an elastic cord attachment system, lash points, hiking pole loops, and ice axe loops keeping bulkier equipment or accessories secured outside. External compression straps as well as a security strap across the dual cinch hood enclosure help reduce packing bulk so you're mobility is not compromised.
